Brief
You are required to make a collection of simple ordinary items where there is a common theme but a variation of form and explore ways in which to appropriately order and present your gathered material.
Initial research
To get some inspiration for what collection I am going to depict I researched some of the examples that were provided.
Typology

Typology created by Diana Zlatanovsk who is a collections steward at Havard University's Peobody Museum. She photographs collections of objects that she come across in her everyday work. Usually these objects have a cultural or historical influence.
Zlatanovsk collects man made objects or artificialia that are all skilfully created. She places the objects so it looks like they all fit together as a jigsaw piece.
Susan Hiller

Susan Hiller is also an artist who creates art through collecting objects such as the 1st image where she collected series of postcards and stamps and arranges them all together to create art.
In the 2nd image she has a collection of pots made by the same company with the words 'remember to remember'. Putting these words with these objects changes the context of these pots they now turn into something which is more nostalgic as if the relation of the words and the objects, are prompting the viewer to remember the vases their mum used to collect.
Natural History Museum - Digital Collections

The Natural History Museum are creating digital collections of their 80 million specimens. They are doing this in order to learn more about their own specimens and to make the collection more accessible to people around the world. This colelction is different from the previous due to the fact it is documenting naturalis form.
Initial Ideas
Here are my initial ideas of possible collections that I could use in my future projects for this summer. I chose these objects because I knew I could change these all in some different way.
