Half tone Images

In this digital workshop in preparation for the screen printing workshop we learnt how to create halftone on Photoshop. The main focus was to see how we can use different textures and colours to create interest even with a 'Minimalist style'.

In this workshop we were tasked to use some of the Gestalt Principles and create different images with only four shapes one structured, left and right, movement and chaotic.

We then had to add halftone to create something more experimental.

Research

For research I looked at two design studios Hvass and Hannibal and Sudio Build these two studios styles is minimalism but the still make things fun, lively and exciting. That was something I wanted to add into my work. The way they did this was by experimenting with colour, transparency and tone and how they would look on top and mixed with each other.
