Glyphs Project - Stage 3

In this stage I need to start simplifying my illustrations that I have done. Really thinking about reducing the amount of lines that have been used. I also need to reduce the amount pictograms from 12 to 9.

Simplification

In this stage I simplified all my icons because I did not know just yet which was I want to keep developing and which ones I won't keep on developing. I simplified them all be trying to reduce any embellishments.

This is showing the icons which were too simple or did not have an interesting enough shape. I decided to not use the last three icons (above) due to those facts.

Pictograms

With my decided pictograms I simplified them further through using tracing paper to sketch over my already simplified images.

I then simplified my images further as I new the could be more simple. I used a brush pen this time which created more interesting and fluid strokes.

I then moved onto tracing over the pictograms with a marker to very the type of line.
