Initial Mood board

This design is a summary of one of my ideas that the packaging would have raw card board and then some colour and line on top. The reason I want the cardboard to be in raw is the whole idea that this packaging is sustainable (as it is reusable) and is for the outdoors. Appealing to the wider audience.

Another packaging idea is to have a small canvas bag which can be used to put the Whiz in a bag so it is much more discreet. However I would have to find the appropriate material to make it water proof.

Pattern idea

I have an idea to use simple pattern referring to water or the water lily (patented shape of the Whiz). Because it can discreetly refer to what the packaging is for it also can be seen as gender neutral so it can be for Transgender people as well.

Made thought

Made Thought is a design agency that has created many packaging design for big brands a lot of their packaging is very inspiring. These are a few examples which I may draw inspiration from:

Prior Travel agency

I like this idea of using collage to convey the magic and mystery of travel this is something I could use for my imagery to convey to the wider audience. Making it more general but also more fun and engaging.

Yauatcha

In this packaging they combined the simple use of pattern and simple packaging to create a calming and discrete set of packaging to emotion that I want to convey in my own packaging.

Hey Studio

Day Dream Drinks

This packaging design from Hey Studio is something interesting because I have an idea for the pattern to be separated from the text and this is a good example of separating something very busy using contrast to create a design that is easy to read.

Magpie Studio

I like this piece of packaging from Magpie Studio, mainly because it has used whitespace and formatting to put a lot of information onto the packaging which due to the Whiz needing quite a lot of information formatting will be key to make it easy to see.
