After showing my ideas to my lecturers I went ahead and finalised the logo I liked best, due to it being more brush like so I could easily imitate it when signing my work:

I decided to go and create more designs on paper based off this design because at the moment it is very abstract. I need to decide wether I want to have my monogram as something legible or abstract.

I then took three designs I liked from my sketches and image traced them in Illustrator.

Above you can see my development going from the top row down. I used combined different strokes together to come up with my final design.
Colour
For colour I was unsure and I went through many variations. I ended up looking at a PDF of different swatches from a Parisian Risograph studio Fidele. I have always liked Risograph colours and in the future I may want to specialise in print. So having a logo based off a colour from that could be interesting.

This was the final colour that I chose. However I also looked at some other colours:

I eventually decided with blue, as blue is my favourite colour! And this is my own brand so I may as well represent myself...
Final Design (So Far)

To double check that this design would work in all formats. I put it in the format which is at it's smallest and hardest to read.

I thought it come across well and clear. I am pleased with my final design as I think it represents that for me as a graphic design I have one foot in digital and the other in pratical.
