Design Case Studies Extra Studios

In this blog below are some more places that I looked at and were interested to maybe use. However I did not use in the end.

The Private Press

The Private Press is a screen printing studio based in Brighton. Who collaborate with designers and artists to create the best prints. This was an interesting side of the creative world, I came across it because I am interested in expanding my work with screen printing so working there would be a good idea. However I did not choose it in the end because they did not create stand alone prints themselves which I would really have enjoyed if I were to work with them.

Hoodzpah - Red Bull Road Trip

Hoodzpah is an LA based design agency. I looked at them as I was doing research for another project I am doing out with my course which is creating media for the universities' motorsport team. I considered them as an agency I could choose as through out their branding they had a fun style. However the only project I was really interested with was their Redbull Roadtrip Campaign.

Magpie Studio

Another Studio I looked at was Magpie Studio a very competent design studio who have won many awards. This studio was really interesting but they were more traditional in designing works for brands and the greater good of brand not the greater good of the people.

Wolff Olins

I also looked at Wolff Olins who are a famous design agency, designing for many big brands such as TikTok, Tesco and Google. As much as they are very successful the sheer size and how commercial their work is does not really appeal to me. I realised I am more drawn towards smaller design agencies which design for smaller more 'indie' clients.
